Nina Björk is a Swedish contemporary artist working primarily with painting.
Her practice moves between landscape and abstraction, exploring themes of passage, structure, memory, and the gradual emergence of form through time and material process.
Working in layered surfaces and slow, iterative methods, her paintings often evolve through erosion, resistance, fragmentation, and light. Water, openings, reflections, organic structures, and shifting spatial tensions recur throughout the work — not as fixed motifs, but as traces of transformation and presence.
Alongside her studio practice, she develops longer narrative and site-related projects where image, material, and storytelling intersect.
Since 2024 she is represented by Gallery Lienhart in Stockholm.
This portfolio presents selected works and ongoing projects from her artistic practice.
